DAYTON, Ohio -- Another business in Dayton has joined
the NewsCenter 7 campaign “Move It to Lose It.”
A recent visit to Crowe Industries found that the
company and its employees are making a big commitment
toward battling the business bulge.
A room on the third floor of the business has been
cleared out in preparation for a new fitness center to
help the company’s five dozen workers Move It to better
health.
Ofelia Lopez, 71, is on team two. She retired after 20
years and was rehired part-time. She is using her
upcoming vacation as her motivation to be better
healthy.
Lopez said she has a daughter who has lost 30 pounds and
she is going to see her in about two months.
Beverly Lowe, 67, is on team one. She is also a retiree
who is back to work. She is pumped up for the
competition.
Lowe has her own reason for joining her co-workers as
they weigh-in on a big company scale. She is trying to
lose weight while gaining a better lifestyle.
Crowe Manufacturing is one of 50 companies that have
signed up for Move It To Lose It. Of the 60 employees at
Crowe, a third of them have signed up and are
encouraging one another to Move It.See the original
